Trapped By My Forbidden Alpha

Chapter 4

Chapter 4

Alessio’s POV

My chest got filled with extreme agony the moment I rejected her. My wolf howled in excruciating pain. Rejecting her felt like the worst thing I could have ever done to myself, the physical and emotional pain was almost unbearable but I held my ground, not letting it show on my face.

When I looked into her eyes, her expressions when I rejected her… I had never felt even an ounce of sympathy for anyone in years, not to this extent. This was different. I wanted to take away all of her pain and make her happy once more, even if it was just for a little while. Seeing her in pain tore me apart from the inside when she ran away from me. There was a strong urge inside me, telling me to stop Mia and tell her that I want her more than anything I had ever wanted in my life- but I could not do that.

An alpha slayer can never be trusted.

I am responsible for my pack, the people under my protection. How can I accept someone who killed the alpha of her pack as my Luna?

Everyone was silent, no one dared to make a sound. I knew my eyes were burning with fierceness and agitation, my mood had just become even better, didn’t it?

My eyes slid to Liam, the beta who had supported and helped her with the murder of the alpha. Their relationship with each other was not simple, it was clear as day with one glance. And I hated him for it even more.

Liam was just as displeased as me by the look on his face. His jaw clenched tight while his body shook with fury. When I got closer to him, he broke the silence and growled out,

“What are you trying to do, Alpha Alessio?”

I coldly twisted my lips, laughing, “What do you think? Joining the werewolf Olympics?”

I was in no mood to entertain him any longer. Within a few moments, I had already accepted him as my enemy. He had snatched my mate from me. Made her a murderer. He didn’t deserve any respect from me.

I turned to face the crowd of Bloodmoon pack, announcing in loud and clear words, “I will be your alpha from now on.”

Liam was shaking from head to toe in fury, “This was not the deal! I had already informed you about the treaty I was offering.”

“And now I am refusing to accept it.” I tilted my head to the side and smirked mockingly.

“You betrayed me,” he said in a deathly calm tone.

My expression sobered as I glared at Liam.

“When did I pledge loyalty to you?” I mocked. “You betrayed the trust of your pack, killed your alpha and you want me to trust you?!” I seethed, “you are welcome to fight me and my warriors if you insist on keeping the alpha position.”

The crowd had gotten filled with exclaims of fear and panic, the voices growing louder with each passing second until I walked in front of them to catch their attention and continued,

“The border between the Silver Lining pack and Bloodmoon pack was drawn by force twenty years ago. Brothers and sisters, husband and wife, parents and children were forced apart for too long.”

My words had startled the crowd. I knew that several of these families were still haunted by the loss from the separation that had accrued many years ago.

“This is the day when our pack will be joined together and everyone can be united with their loved ones. From this day, all of you will be protected under my name. If anybody has an objection to this, you are free to leave this pack unharmed.”

The uproar of people had died down and nobody moved- just as I had expected.

I turned back to face Liam, the mere sight of his face filled me with deep rage and disgust that I had to try extremely hard to not let show on my face. I hated him with every fibre in my body.

“You have two choices.” I got closer to him, just a few steps away from him, “one, you leave this pack and get banished by me. Become a rogue. And two, you will take the position of the second beta. Serve under my current Beta Daniel.”

I could see the way the trouble went through his gaze, the anger and disappointment, and the humiliation he was going through. He did not have a choice, and I was glad to let him know that.

“Second.” he muttered through clenched teeth without looking at me, “I will be the Beta.”

I smiled in satisfaction. This pack doesn’t need more drastic changes.

“Kneel.”

His eyes snapped back to me in shock, “What?”

My eyes hardened, there was no sympathy, no care left in them anymore, “Kneel before your new alpha, beta Liam!” I barked.

It was amusing to see the way he gulped hard, swallowing all of his pride and dropping down on one knee in front of me, “Alpha.” he muttered.

I didn’t even try to hide the look of satisfaction and smile from my face at the sight of his submission. This is what I had been craving to see. This submission from all courageous, proud Beta.

I turned away, dismissing him. A moment later, there was slight shuffling, and then the sound of footsteps striding away from me.

Liam had left after getting embarrassed in front of his new alpha.

I couldn’t help but grin. Turning to my beta, Daniel, I ordered, “Take care of everything.”

I had intended to find a place in the packhouse to close my eyes for a few moments to calm down my erratic heart and throbbing mind that didn’t let me think of anything else but Mia. But my damn wolf was on the edge, my mind was not at peace, and suddenly, the only thing I could do was follow my instinct. I was out of the packhouse, Mia’s scent dragging me through the grounds like I was on a leash that I couldn’t escape from.

‘You should apologise to her.’ My wolf, Ace’s voice rang out inside me.

‘I am not going to.’ I responded, ‘and for what?!’

‘You insulted her. You rejected her. You snatched what she won. Do I need to go on?’

I grumbled, forcibly gritting out, ‘I am not apologising to anyone. She can run and cry in the arms of that other asshole all she wants.’

‘How jealous of you.’ Ace’s laughter was clear in his voice.

‘Stop being a pussywhipped wild animal, Ace.’ I growled in irritation, ‘I am not going to be controlled by measly biological hormones and beg her to take me as her mate!’

Ace burst out in laughter, ‘Who are you trying to lie to? Don’t forget that you and I are one being. I KNOW what you want.’

My agitation grew at his words. It was true that it had gotten hard for me to control my feelings after seeing Mia, but I didn’t want the reminder of it shoved in my face at all. I was already pissed enough.

‘Shut your trap!’

I followed her scent to a nearby large, white house. The nameplate said ‘Alpha Wyatt’. I clenched my teeth, wondering what she was doing here.

When I entered the house, her scent grew stronger. That’s when I realised that she was not alone. There was another scent, a male one. Liam. Burying down my urge to tear down everything and take her away with me where only I am around her, I held myself back and stopped outside a room from where the angry, fighting voices were coming,

“Why would you even do that?!” Liam roared furiously, “you embarrassed me in front of our whole pack! Even the rival pack that was supposed to support me!”

“Are you serious right now?” Mia snapped in disbelief, “well, I am so fucking sorry that you feel embarrassed by something that I did not have any control over!”

Ace was grinning inside me, happy seeing them in a fight, ‘Feisty girl.’ he commented happily.

‘And untamed.’ I added gloomily.

The sound of footsteps suddenly shook the room as Liam’s threatening words rang out: “I’ve already told you, Mia, and I’m repeating it again. If you have ANY plans of leaving me, get that thought out of your head because if you left me, first I will kill you with my own hands and then kill myself!”

A furious wave ran through every vein in my body. It was getting harder to control myself from grabbing that motherfucker’s neck and killing him myself.

The sound of the slap echoed inside the room, my body stiffened, tensed, my heart thumping harder than ever. He raised his hand on her?!

“Have some respect for yourself, Liam!” The disappointment in her voice is obvious.

The tension inside me eased a bit, my wolf jumping up in joy knowing she slapped him.

‘One capable girl!’ he applauded happily.

I tried to stay unaffected and displeased, ‘and dangerous.’

“Mia, I can see what is running through your mind!” Liam’s words were shaking as he spluttered out through rage, “you… you are not going to be anyone else’s mate! And I will damn well make sure of that!”

Suddenly the room burst out into the sound of flesh hitting flesh, and clothes being torn apart. The ripping of the clothes rang in my ears just as Mia screamed,

“Liam! Stop it! What the hell are you doing?”

My body acted before my mind got a chance to think. The door flew open with one kick, and I raced into the room with burning eyes and shaking hands.

Mia was shaking from head to toe, trying to fight off Liam’s hands that were ripping her clothes to shreds.

I dashed in their direction, my chest pounding. My eyes saw red, unable to think of what I was about to do.

I was moving forward, charging at him with full force. My fists landed on Liam’s face, my knuckles pummeling down on his face, his body, and literally every place I could find to cause as much pain as possible. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

Liam did appear shocked by my sudden attack. He did move back after getting hit but moved instead of stopping. His hand slipped under my arm, slid to my back, and flipped me to make me fall and pin down on the ground.

But I was much quicker and more active than him. Within a second, I had twisted around, out of his hold, my hand went to grab his thick throat, take fast steps forward to slam his back against a wall, and then I squeezed hard.

It didn’t take even a moment for his face to turn red and blue due to suffocation. His hand slapped at my wrists to get free.

‘Kill him.’ Ace growled inside me, ‘he tried to harm our mate.’

His voice brought me back to the present, making me realise what I had just done. Clenching my teeth tight to shove down all the fury, I let him go.

His bloodshot, glaring gaze moved from me to Mia for a brief second before he stormed out of the room without another word.
