The Call
Chapter 28 The Call
“Because…. I stole from you?” The man asked, obviously scared of what Ramos might do next.
“You agreed to whatever he told you to do without thinking about the consequences of your action. Did you think that I won’t have found you? That’s the mistake you amateurs make. You leave traces of yourself everywhere which makes it easier for us to find you.”
“Please… I don’t want to die. I need to be there for my family.” The man said, begging.
“Don’t worry about your family, they will survive on their own. At least your daughter could get sold for you know what I mean and your son could become a junky and work for someone like me… So don’t concern yourself about them and think about yourself.
As you can see my sharks haven’t eaten in a while… So they’re hungry.” Ramos said.
The man’s eyes widened in horror. “Please, no! You can’t do this! I’m a father, I have children who need me!” he begged, tears streaming down his face. “I’ll do anything, just please don’t kill me!”
But Ramos was unmoved. “You had your chance to cooperate,” he said coldly. “You chose not to. Now, you must face the consequences.”
He signaled to his men, and they began to drag the man away, toward the shark cage. From NôvelDrama.Org.
As the man struggled against the grip of the men, he let out a desperate cry. “Someone, please help me!” he shouted. “I don’t want to die! I’m innocent! I didn’t do anything wrong!”
“Oh.. you think someone is going to come to your rescue. Nah, they had used you for their own gain and has disposed you like a garbage that you are since you got caught by me.
So even if I spared your life and you returned home, they would assume you told me everything and their lives could be in danger and so they will kill you and your family to cover up their tracks.
So am going to help you by ending your life so that they would know that you died with their secret and they don’t have to do the dirty work of killing you to cover their tracks.
I helped them to do all the dirty work for them.” Ramos said.
“No, No…. please don’t kill me….” The man said, begging for his life.
But no one came to his aid. The other people in the room stood silently, too afraid to intervene. It seemed as though no one would save him from this terrible fate.
As they reached the shark cage, the man’s cries became more frantic. “No, please, no!” he begged, his voice breaking.
“Drop him in.” Ramos ordered.
“Please… I don’t know anything else…. spare me and I will get all the information you need.” The man said, his voice shaking out of fear.
“Anything?” Ramos asked.
“Anything.” The man agreed.
“What if I say, bring your daughter and let me rape her in your presence… will you agree?” Ramos asked, a wicked grin on his face.
“No… please… not my daughter. She didn’t do anything wrong. I’m the one who did the wrong and so please let me be the one to make it right, please.” The man said, still begging.
“Well… my friend, that’s what I want and if you don’t agree to it. My men will drop you straight into the cage and trust me when I say this, those hungry sharks, will feast on every part of your body that you won’t have time to scream. Or maybe you will scream just a little bit then you die!” Ramos said as he signaled they throw the man into the shark cage.
Just then his phone began to ring and he told his men to stop for he had a call.
When he picked it.
“Hello.” He answered.
“Ramos, it’s me Raven.”
