No Choice
Chapter 61 No Choice
Just then one of his men walked towards him and whispered something to his hearing.
“I don’t think I would need to ask you those questions anymore. I have someone who would reveal what I want.” he said.
Who could that be? Raven thought in her mind as Ramos left the room she was held and headed to the basement.
He got to the basement and then one of his men informed him.
“Sir, while we were chasing the Sanchez brothers, we caught the driver. I think he would know where they were heading.” One of his men revealed.
Ramos gave a grim smile for he was planning to torture the driver to reveal the Carlos family location as well as the location of the special necklace.

What did Ramos want with the special necklace? And most importantly, how could she escape from this horrible place?
As Ramos reached the basement, he found a man tied to a chair. He was covered in bruises and looked to be in a great deal of pain.
“So, you’re the one who’s been helping the Sanchez brothers,” Ramos said, his voice cold and threatening. “You’re going to tell me everything I want to know, and then I’ll decide what to do with you.”
The man looked up at Ramos with fear in his eyes. “Please, I don’t know anything,” he said, his voice shaking. “I just drive the car. I don’t know anything about the brothers or the necklace.”
“I don’t believe you,” Ramos said, his voice calm and collected. “You’re going to tell me what I want to know, one way or another.”
Ramos turned to one of his men and said, “Bring the tools.”
“I don’t know anything I swear.” the driver said.
“Well, we will see about that.” Ramos said.
The man with the tools came into the room, carrying a box full of instruments of torture.
He set the box down on a table and opened it, revealing the contents inside. There were whips, chains, and knives, all designed to inflict pain.
The driver’s eyes widened in terror as he saw the contents of the box. He began to struggle against his restraints, trying to get free.
Ramos smiled, a cruel, menacing smile. “You’re not going anywhere,” he said. “You’re going to tell me what I want to know, or else.”
“I can’t,”
“You can, and you will,” Ramos said, his voice cold and even. “You will tell me, or you will suffer. I can make you hurt in ways you can’t even imagine. I can make your pain last for days, weeks, months. I can keep you alive, just barely, while I inflict the most unimaginable pain upon you. Do you understand what I’m saying?”
The driver began to sob, the tears streaming down his face. “Please, I can’t. I don’t know anything.”
“You’re lying,” Ramos said.
“No, I’m not,” the driver said, his voice shaking. “I’m not part of their organization. I’m just a driver. I swear to you, I don’t know anything.”
Ramos considered this for a moment, his eyes narrowed. “If that’s true, then you’re useless to me,” he said. “And I have no use for useless people.”
He turned to his men. “Get rid of him.”
The driver’s eyes widened in fear, and he began to struggle against his restraints even harder. “No, please!” he begged.
The man with the box of tools stepped forward, a knife in his hand. “Wait!” the driver shouted. “I do know something!”
Ramos turned to the driver, his face expressionless. “What is it?” he asked.
“There’s a meeting,” the driver said, his voice shaking. “It’s happening tonight. I don’t know where, but I know when.”
Ramos considered this. “If you’re lying, I’ll make you suffer,” he said. “But if you’re telling the truth, I’ll let you go.”
“I’m telling the truth, I swear!” the driver said, his voice desperate. “I don’t want to die. Please, let me go.”
“You’re going to have to prove it,” Ramos said. “Tell me when and how you heard about this meeting.”
The driver took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart. “I heard it a few days ago,” he said. “I was in the office, and I heard two of the brothers talking.”
“I heard them say that there was a meeting tonight, at midnight,” the driver continued. “They said it was going to be at a warehouse, but I don’t know which one. Please, believe me. I’m telling the truth.”
Ramos studied the driver’s face, trying to determine if he was lying. “Why should I believe you?” he asked. “You’ve already lied to me once.”
“I was scared,” the driver said. “I didn’t want to die. But now, I’m telling you the truth. I don’t want to be a part of this anymore.Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.
“Okay, let’s play a little game shall we?” Ramos said.
“What…. the game all about?” the driver asked.
“If you can run as fast as you can beyond my bullet, then I will consider letting you go, but if my bullet kills you then bye bye!” Ramos said.
Hahahaha!
The driver stared at Ramos in disbelief. “You’re joking, right?” he asked. “You’re not seriously considering shooting me?”
“I’m completely serious,” Ramos said, his voice deadly serious. “But don’t worry, I’m a good shot. You’ll have a fair chance to escape.”
The driver’s face was ashen. “This is insane,” he said. “I can’t believe you’re even considering this.”
“It’s either this, or you go back to your cell and rot or you get shot or you get eaten by my pet shark,” Ramos said. “I think you know which option is better.”
“You’re crazy!” the driver shouted. “I won’t play your game. You can’t make me do this.”
“Oh, but I can,” Ramos said, his voice cold and calculating. “You see, you’re in my power now. You have no choice but to do what I say.”
“No,” the driver said, his voice shaking. “I won’t do it. I’d rather die than play your game.”
“That can be arranged,” Ramos said, a smirk playing on his lips.
The driver looked at Ramos, his eyes filled with fear and anger. He knew he was trapped, and he knew there was no way out. But he also knew that he couldn’t let Ramos win. He had to stand up for himself, for his own dignity.
“No,” he said, his voice firm. “I won’t do it. I refuse to play your game.”
Ramos’s smirk faded, and his expression grew hard. “Very well,” he said. “You leave me no choice.
Ramos took out a gun and aimed it at the drivers head.
