Chapter 58 - Breath of Relief
Chapter 58 - Breath of Relief
The onlookers were in disbelief as one of them exclaimed, "Wow, this is unbelievable! Mr. Glitzy has
actually taken Estella hostage - it's just too much!"
As they watched the events unfold with Arthur on the live stream, more people began arriving at the
scene, each with their own opinion on the matter.
"Quickly attack him!" Estella shouted desperately, her eyes wide with urgency. Her men moved forward,
but Arthur's grip on her tightened, and Estella winced in pain.
"No one dares to come forward!" Alicia snapped, her voice full of threat.
"I won't hesitate to injure or kill Estella if any of you dare attack! Quickly, get away!"
Alicia's expression had changed, her panic becoming more and more visible. She wanted to protect
Arthur, to keep him away from this dangerous situation.
"If I hadn't invited Arthur Oppa to this place today," she thought to herself, "perhaps none of this would
have happened."
At that very moment, the sound of a helicopter's blades whirring quickly filled the air, and it hovered
directly above them all.
"What the-? Whose helicopter is that?" Estella's men were clearly taken aback, some of them looking
up in shock.
"Get out of here, or we'll shoot!" a voice from the helicopter shouted, a rifle pointed down. A shot was
then fired, narrowly missing Brave, who was standing at the front.
Arthur immediately signaled Alicia to get ready, "Alicia, be prepared to get on the helicopter as soon as
it gets low enough," he said.
Alicia was taken aback. Sure enough, her suspicion was confirmed: Arthur had a plan for them to
escape from that place. She nodded quickly in agreement.
The helicopter slowly descended. The two people in the cockpit kept an eye on the crowd below, ready
to fire a warning shot if anyone got too close to Arthur. When the chopper was just two meters away
from the ground, Alicia leaped onto the landing skid and clambered up.
"Oppa!" she yelled to Arthur.
"Don't worry, Alicia," he called back. "I'll be right behind you."
Alicia was already in the helicopter, but Arthur was still holding Estella down, his grip tight.
"So, are you going to take me with you too, Mr. Glitzy?" Estella tried to speak, her voice trembling,
while Arthur remained silent.
Finally, he spoke firmly, his right hand pressing harder on her neck, making her groan in pain.
"Listen to me," he said in her ear, his tone menacing. "If I see you involved with anyone I protect one
more time, I won't hesitate to kill you."
Estella shuddered at his words, feeling terror coursing through her.
Estella instantly silenced herself upon hearing Arthur's menacing threat; it was the first time she had
ever experienced someone threatening her, and it sent shivers of fear down her spine. Had she made
the wrong decision in challenging Arthur?
Arthur then rapidly thrust Estella towards Brave, who was immediately sent flying and tumbling to the
ground. Arthur quickly boarded the departing helicopter as it quickly ascended into the air.
Estella fell to the ground, then stood up in annoyance and pushed Brave away. "You fools!" she
screamed.
She then walked away, pushing her men away every time she passed them.
"You guys, with this many of you, still can't catch two people like them!"
Estella felt embarrassed and angry, but she also couldn't help feeling scared. "That person is not just
anyone," she said to herself.
"Maybe it's better if I don't have to deal with that guy who goes by the name Mr. Glitzy anymore," she
muttered, feeling a chill of horror inside herself.
Meanwhile, Arthur, who had been sitting in the helicopter with Alicia, was now seated in front of two
men with large, imposing figures.
"Boss, we apologize for being late," the man said.
"It's all right," he replied quietly, then shifted his gaze to Alicia.
"Are you okay, Alicia?"
Arthur observed Alicia's face, which was now pale and contorted with fear. It was the first time he had RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
ever seen her this way, despite her usually brave demeanor. But he remembered she was still an
ordinary young girl, and she, too, was frightened.
Alicia then looked at Arthur, nodded slowly, and tears began to stream down her face. "Arthur,
Oppa....." she sobbed, embracing him tightly.
Arthur patted Alicia's back, feeling the fragility of her small frame as she hugged him. "It's alright, we're
safe. There's nothing to be afraid of," he said in a soothing voice, trying to reassure her.
"I'm so sorry, if I hadn't invited you out to eat, maybe none of this would have happened. I'm sorry, I
was careless and they discovered my identity. I almost put you in harm's way," Alicia said, her voice
shaking with shame.
It wasn't her own safety that Alicia was crying over. She was worried about Arthur, feeling guilty for
potentially putting him in danger. "I don't want anything to happen to you. I'm sorry, Oppa..." she said,
her tears now streaming down his chest.
"No, it's okay," Arthur replied, still striving to keep her calm. "You don't need to feel guilty."
But Alicia still blamed herself. She cried even louder and hugged Arthur's body. He felt both guilty and
happy because Arthur was finally safe.
"I'll try to be more careful. I won't be careless, I won't let this happen again. I really don't want anything
bad to happen to you."
Alicia spoke from the depths of her soul, displaying a sincerity and intensity of emotion that she had
never before experienced. She was overwhelmed by her feelings for Arthur, believing that he was the
most important person in her life, and she wanted to do everything in her power to help him realize his
full potential. She held these intentions close to her heart.
