Chapter 453
Chapter 453
Chad was speechless. His meticulously planned surprise and the warm embrace he had anticipated
did not come. He sighed, got out of his car, and entered the bar.
As soon as he walked in, he heard heart-wrenching cries from the crowd. It was Molly! She was crying
as though her world had ended.
People around frequently turned their heads towards the noise. Molly was pretty, but her crying was
rather... ridiculous.
Chad walked in behind Molly. The staff recognized him as the young man who had come to pick up his
sister.
Chad was immaculately dressed, and carried a light scent of sandalwood. This was a clear indication
that he had put in considerable effort to look his best that day. He was wearing a suit, which was rare.
Usually, he would only wear a suit for formal events or when meeting important people.
Everything he had done today was to cater to Molly’s aesthetic preferences, but in the end, she ended
up getting utterly drunk.
“I lost my brother... I can’t find him. He’s a police officer, but he’s missing!” Molly sobbed as she spoke.
Tanner got up and stood next to Chad. “Mr. Chad, the miss said she could handle 12 glasses, but she Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.
started crying after much few.”
There were people around Molly trying to console her. “Molly, don’t cry. Your brother is here. The police
officer is not lost.”
Chad walked over and Molly’s colleagues quickly stood up to give him their seats. He sat down and
could see his sister’s profile from where he was sitting.
“Turn your head and see who I am,” Chad said.
Molly, who had been crying, turned her head and looked at the person who had just sat down. “You’re a
hot guy.”
Everyone was speechless.
Chad was also stunned by his sister’s remark. “Not bad. You still know that I’m hot.”
“No, Chad, I’m your brother.” Molly suddenly recognized Chad. She threw herself into Chad’s arms and
cried.
Chad held back. Who was whose brother?
His neatly dressed body was suddenly invaded by a snotty girl. He leaned back, staring at his sister in
his arms with a slightly disgusted expression. “Do you recognize me now? Let’s go home.”
“I can’t walk. You chopped off my legs.”
The people around them weren’t blind, and could see her long slender legs. Chad didn’t know what to
say.
The colleagues around tried to hold back their laughter.
He now understood what his mother’s words meant. He had to carry her out. He grabbed Molly’s arm,
put her arm around his neck, bent down, lifted her legs and waist, and carried the limp girl in his arms.
Then he stood up.
Chad said goodbye to Tanner, and left with his crying sister.
Seeing the unfamiliar car, Molly clung to Chad’s neck. “Chad, whose car is this? Who are you selling
me to?”
Chad replied, “I’m selling you to myself. Who else would I sell you to?”
Molly held Chad tightly. “Chad, you stole the car.”
“And I kidnapped a girl too.”
He opened the passenger door and put his sister in. Molly clung to Chad’s neck and refused to let go.
In the end, the not-so-gentle Chad forcefully pulled her arms off his neck. He carried her out, breaking
into a sweat.
When he got to the driver’s seat and was ready to drive, Molly unbuckled her seat belt and threw
herself towards Chad, sobbing, “Chad, I love you so much. You are my favorite Chad. Don’t let me lose
contact with you.”
Chad was about to lose his temper, but Molly’s later words saved her life. He looked at the drunk sister
beside him, and he helped her up. She continued to fall into Chad’s arms. He pushed her up again, but
she fell again.
In the end, Chad was completely helpless. He got out of the car again, went to the passenger seat,
carried the sister out of the car, and dragged the limp girl to the back seat.
Molly was throwing a tantrum. She quietly put her arms around Chad’s neck. When Chad put her on
the back seat and pushed her to sleep, his neck was held by Molly. By inertia, she pulled him down,
and he also fell onto the back seat. He fell heavily onto Molly, making her frown. The man’s body was
pressing on her, making her unable to move.
“Molly!”
Molly looked at the face that was close at hand. She tightened her arms and held Chad tightly in her
arms. “Chad, I love you so much.”
Chad’s fist was already clenched, just short of hitting the drunken girl. “Let go of me.”
From the back, you could see the back door of the BMW was open, and the entangled legs of a man
and a woman were exposed. The two people were in the car seat. The man was pressing on the
woman, unable to escape.
Molly’s eyes were misty as she stared at the man she loved the most. Her mind was filled with Chad.
She looked into his eyes, unwilling to blink. Her mouth was pressed. She looked at Chad’s lips, which
were extraordinarily good-looking.
She pouted and suddenly kissed Chad forcefully. Her sudden action completely baffled Chad. His body
softened, pressing all the weight onto Molly.
Chad’s heart seemed to be struggling fiercely, fighting, jumping. He swallowed, and the movement of
his Adam’s apple was caused by swallowing saliva. Under his eyelashes was that familiar face. He had
fantasized about having intimate actions with her, but when it really happened, he didn’t respond for a
long time.
Molly kept kissing, and closed her eyes. The hand on Chad’s arm slowly loosened. Clearly, he could
easily get up, but at this moment, it felt as if there were thousands of pounds pressing on his back,
making him unable to get up.
“Young people these days really have no shame, doing such things in the street. It’s disgraceful.” A
passerby’s curse made Chad instantly sober. He got up and quickly left Molly.
He stood by the road and glanced at the direction of the person who had just cursed him. He was not
angry. He turned back and looked at his soft, sleeping sister. Chad reached out and shook his sister’s
knee. “Molly, Molly?”
“Hmm, what are you shouting for. Is it dawn?” She was sleepy.
Chad lowered his head and took a deep breath. A sleeping sister was easier to take care of than a
drunken one. He helped his sister adjust her sleeping position, closed the door, quickly got into the car,
and drove home.
On the way, the memory of the wet, warm kiss popped up in his mind from time to time. A kiss that was
too simple to be called a kiss stirred the ripples in the calm lake of his heart. Those uncontrollable
feelings seemed to be jumping out. He had kept his calm for so many years, but a kiss broke it.
A terrifying sound suddenly came from the back seat. Chad shot a quick look over his shoulder into the
backseat, and then quickly refocused on the road ahead. “Hold on, Molly. We’ll be home soon.”
“Ugh...”
Their car was stuck in stop-and-go traffic, and the constant jerking movement made Molly in the
backseat want to vomit.
Chad pulled the car over in a hurry. After all, it was his brand new ride. No sooner had Chad parked the
car, than an off-putting smell, accompanied by a gagging sound, wafted forward.
Chad felt a headache coming on!
