Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 440

Chapter 440

“Honey, I think my bust size has increased. Wanna check it out?”

At Mia’s words, a vein throbbed in Andre’s temple. “No!”

Mia looked up at her husband, pouting. “Okay, okay, no need to get angry. I was just asking you first.”

“So, you were planning to ask someone else too?”

Mia was taken aback, realizing that she had misspoke. “No, no, I was only going to ask you, my

darling.” She crawled over and planted a kiss on Andre’s face.

Soon after, she said, “Honey, my bras don’t fit anymore. I need to buy new ones.”

Andre said, “And you want me to buy them for you?”

Mia, nestled in her husband’s arms, shook her head. She wouldn’t subject him to a lingerie store visit.

“You can just provide the money.”

“Don’t try to change the subject…”

Mia’s cheeks were squished as she looked up at her husband. She asked, “Honey, do you think my

breasts will shrink after I give birth to the baby?”

“Mia.”

Mia covered her ears, dived under the covers, and muffled her voice with the blanket, “I’m sleeping.”

Andre sighed.

Soon, a head popped out from under the covers. Mia sprung up to plant several kisses on Andre’s

face. “Honey, I love you. No matter what I say, you are the man I love the most.”

Andre’s mood improved at the words. “I thought you were sleeping?”

Mia pecked his lips with a mischievous grin. “I’m just sleepwalking.”

After saying that, she dived back under the covers and went to sleep.

Soon, Mia flung the covers off, consequently uncovering Andre as well. Andre wrapped his arms

around his wife, asking with affection, “Is my wife sleepwalking again?”

“Honey, don’t forget to give me some money tomorrow.”

After saying that, she covered herself with the blanket and fell asleep.

Mia amused her husband to the point that he couldn’t help but chuckle every time he thought of her.

She was sound asleep, leaving Andre alone in the quiet night, a smile lingering on his face.

As the night fell quiet, Andre gently lifted the sleeping Mia from the bed. Her peaceful sleeping face

calmed his world, just like the serene night, enchanting and captivating.

The next day, Andre left for work before Mia woke up. He left a new bank card on her bedside table

and then departed.

As the weather heated up, Mia craved ice-cold watermelon more and more. One day, when Andre

returned home, he saw his wife’s pleading eyes. He sat beside her, picked up the half-eaten

watermelon from the table, and held it to her lips.

Mia took a small bite.

Naomi was about to stop them, fearing that Mia would develop gestational diabetes like her mother-in-

law did when she was pregnant with Molly due to overeating watermelon. She was worried for Mia.

Andre only had eyes for Mia. He dismissed Naomi’s concern. “I know what I’m doing.”

Under her husband’s affection, Mia finally got to satisfy her craving for the icy, refreshing watermelon.

Molly returned to the Byrne family after staying with the Cedillo family for a few days. She continued

her internship at Chade Inc.

Leo was still getting beaten up at the martial arts dojo. One day Mia visited the dojo and was

heartbroken to see Leo thrown onto the mat, so she left in a hurry.

One evening, when Leo returned home, he saw a bruise ointment on his desk. He looked at the

package and chuckled. “So ugly. Just like Mia’s taste in men.”

During Mia’s pregnancy, she enjoyed teasing Hansen at home. “Do you want to listen to my baby’s

heartbeat?”

Hansen was excited. “Yes.”

Mia extended her chubby little hand. “Since you’re the baby’s grandfather, I’ll give you a special offer,

$998.”

Hansen was taken aback. “You’re trying to swindle me?”

“Dad, you’re really bad at negotiations. You could’ve bargained.”

And so, Hansen began to bargain with Mia. “Give me a discount.”

“The price is fixed. No discounts.” Mia said with a smile.

Hansen was fuming. “Then why did you suggest I bargain?”

Mia began her sophistry. “I said you could bargain, but I didn’t say I would lower the price.”Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Hansen was so frustrated that he decided not to play with Mia anymore. He sat in the backyard,

sulking.

Later, bored Mia went out to the backyard to appease her father-in-law. “Since you seem genuinely

interested, how about a final offer of $558?”

Naomi watched the two of them chatting and couldn’t help but laugh.

At dinner, everyone was “complaining” about Mia. Hansen claimed, “Ever since God sent Mia to me,

my life has become harder.”

Suddenly, while eating his dinner, Leo added, “Harder than bananas.”

Hansen quickly picked up his cane, pointing at Leo. “Did you just call me a hard banana?”

Leo said, “No, you must have misheard because of your old age.”

Leo said, “Isn’t she down when she makes a mistake?”

Naomi was the one who loved Mia the most now. “Mia brings so much joy and laughter to our home.”

Leo replied, “True, she even had a big fight with you when she first came. That was quite a show.”

Mia looked at her nephew. “Leo, the fact that you’re still alive is one of the world’s top ten miracles.”

Apparently, Leo stayed at a hotel that night after dinner. He had a home but preferred to stay in a

hotel?

Mia went to her husband to swear her innocence. “Honey, I swear, I’ve been very good. I didn’t beat

him.”

Andre said, “I did. He’s been too aggressive lately. I didn’t want him to affect you.”

Mia thought, “Well, that was unexpected.”

Before bedtime, Hansen sneaked into Andre’s study room. Andre thought his father had some

important matters to discuss with him.
