Noir

Chapter 37

Later that evening, under the dim glow of the lit candles on the hallway walls, I found myself once again standing outside Noir's door, my heart pounding in my chest. I took a deep breath, the scent of candle wax in the atmosphere. With a mix of anticipation and trepidation, I raised my fist, feeling the weight of my own uncertainty, hesitating for a moment before I knocked.

When there was no answer, I tried the handle, only to find it locked. Disappointed but not deterred, I leaned against the rough stone wall, its texture scratching against my back, and closed my eyes, trying to calm my racing thoughts. Unable to quell my curiosity, I couldn't help but wonder what Noir was doing inside. Was he safe? Was he angry? Or was he simply confused about what had happened to him? The weight of the unknown hung heavy in the air, mingling with the wax and the distant aroma of mildew. Time seemed to slow down, stretching each passing second into an eternity.

Eventually, I mustered the courage to knock again, my knuckles making a soft thud against the door. This time, the door opened slowly, revealing a somewhat disheveled Noir. His bloodshot eyes told a tale of a sleepless night, and the tired lines on his face spoke volumes. Something about him made me hesitant to speak, as if the air itself held a tangible tension.© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

Finally, I found my voice, its sound almost swallowed by the surrounding stillness. "Are you okay?" I asked softly, the words hanging in the air like a fragile whisper. He studied me for a moment, his gaze piercing, and then slowly nodded. "I'm....fine." His voice, now deeper and rough around the edges, carried a weight of its own. "I was just...thinking."

I swallowed hard, the taste of uncertainty lingering on my tongue, not knowing what to say next. "We need to talk," I managed to choke out, the words feeling heavy in my mouth. "About what happened, and what we should do."

He took a step back, and I could see a flicker of anger in his eyes. "There's nothing to talk about," he snapped, the words cutting through the silence. "I am what I am now."

"Noir, please," I said, reaching out to him. "I need to understand this. I need to know what I'm dealing with, that way I can help you."

Noir only exhaled air out his nostrils and without a word, he clamped his lips together, as jaw taut and pulsing, he ground his teeth and turned away from me, walking a short distance away.

Stepping inside his room, I shut the door behind me as he barked "What makes you think I want help?" His voice erupted with a bark, cutting through the air, challenging my intentions.

Confusion etched across my face as I stared at his back. "You mean you don't?" I questioned, my voice barely a whisper. His continued silence pushed my frustration to the surface. With a vehement shake of my head, anger coursed through my veins, fueling my words. "Then I can only conclude you're a damn fool..."

His reply came swiftly, laced with hostility. "Yeah... I guess that's what I am. Now, forget the whole idiotic idea of helping me and get your ass out of my room!"

His words hung in the air, a venomous barrier between us. Glaring at him, my hiss cut through the tension. "Well, that's not going to happen... because dammit, you need my help!"

Standing tall, Noir towered over me, his presence intimidating. His voice thundered, filling the room. "Get the fuck out of my room!"

Undeterred, I shook my head, closing the distance between us. My hand extended, poking him firmly in the chest. "You may be bigger than I am, and you may be stronger than I am, and yes, you may even be turning into a... whatever the hell you are... but I'm going to help your sorry ass, and you aren't going to stop me!"

In response to my words, Noir murmured softly, his voice filled with intrigue. "Is that so? Care to bet that I can come up with a few ways?"

Suddenly, he was before me, and with a low growl, he pulled me towards him, the rough fabric of his denim jeans failing to conceal his undeniable arousal. His hardened length pressed firmly against me, a proud declaration of his desire, as another growl escaped his lips. Sensations coursed through me as he moved against me, starting with gentle thrusts that grew more urgent. A deep, strangled sound emerged from within him, accompanied by each thrust. My own longing intensified, my body growing damp with need. The intoxicating scent of him enveloped me, seducing my senses. It caused my breasts to swell, my nipples to harden, and a warm, pulsating ache to throb between my thighs, demanding satisfaction. Whimpering uncontrollably, I could no longer resist the instinctive movement of my hips, as I eagerly pushed against his erection. Noir initiated a slow, rhythmic motion, his movements pressing against my softness. Then, with a groan, he captured my mouth with his own. His passion was evident as he tugged at my lower lip with his teeth, coaxing me to open to him. Our tongues danced in a sensuous and seductive embrace, each movement teasing and arousing.
