My Formidable Husband

Chapter 33 Undercover Plan

Diane had been in the industry long enough that she instantly figured out what Christopher was up to.

She couldn’t help but chuckle. “As expected of you, Boss. I’ll send Amanda over immediately.”

After hanging up, Diane immediately called her secretary and explained everything to her.

Amanda had been following Diane since she graduated from university, and she naturally knew what

she had to do. With a smile, she replied, “You can trust me, Ms. Reed!”

“Of course, I trust you. By the way, the boss asked for some help in getting something done, so you

need to drop by. Also, remember never to expose who he actually is. This is a direct order,” Diane said.

“Understood. Don’t worry, my lips are zipped.”

Amanda had been with Diane for so long that she practically saw her as an older sister.

At that same moment, Christopher was standing in front of Nirvana Residence waiting for someone. Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

Soon enough, Amanda arrived in an extremely common-looking Volkswagen. She hurriedly got down

from the car when she spotted Christopher and greeted him respectfully, “Hello, Mr. Yaeger.”

Christopher looked around and noticed that they were alone before saying in a low voice, “Next time,

just call me Christopher in these sorts of places.”

Amanda knew that her boss’ identity was highly protected and she quickly nodded in understanding.

“Where are the things I asked for?” Christopher asked.

“They’re all right here.”

Amanda immediately pulled out the proposal and passed it to him. She had even registered

Christopher under Julianna Corporation with the Murrays’ name.

Christopher nodded and said, “I’m going to need your help on keeping up with this in the future.”

“Sure. I’ll definitely handle everything well,” Amanda said with a smile.

While Christopher was still chatting with Amanda, an angry voice suddenly called out from behind him,

“Christopher!”

He turned around only to see Fabio driving slowly toward him in a BMW. Coldly, he replied, “What do

you want, Fabio? Was the lesson I taught you last time not severe enough?”

Fabio felt his knees go weak immediately after Christopher brought up the incident that happened at

the banquet. No one had ever dared to hit him since the day he was born, much less kick him right in

front of a whole crowd of people.

“I’ll pay you back for that soon!” Fabio hissed.

“Why wait? Just get off the car right now!” Christopher said coldly.

Fabio immediately shrunk back at the thought of actually going hand-to-hand with Christopher.

However, he still glanced over at Amanda and scoffed, “I didn’t know someone like you is still

interested in messing around with other women. You’re quite the looker, young lady. Why not you go

out with me instead? Check out this BMW. A veteran like him would never be able to afford it. What can

he even give you?”

Fabio kept staring at Amanda the whole time as he spoke. After all, Amanda was very attractive and

his eyes practically shone as he stared at her lustfully.

He looked as if he wanted to swallow Amanda whole.

If she agreed to his offer, it would also be an added bonus to embarrass Christopher.

Christopher said quietly, “You should leave first.”

If that were a normal situation, Amanda would already have yelled back. After all, she was from

Centurion Corporation!

How could a mere BMW owner dare to speak to her that way?

But with Christopher there, she didn’t dare to reveal her identity, so she just drove away.

Fabio clucked his tongue annoyingly and looked at the documents in Christopher’s hands. After

reading the words on the paper, he couldn’t help but start guffawing. “You’ve actually gone crazy,

haven’t you? What’s with this proposal? Are you actually prepared to fight for the Dragon Valley

project? Do you really think you deserve it?”

“You really missed the beating I gave you, don’t you?” Christopher asked with a cold smile.
