Chapter 757 Leave the Chat Group

These things happened more than a year ago, but they seemed to have just happened yesterday.

Colin recalled for a moment and chuckled. "I think I remember it."

There was a dinner this evening, but they were all drunk. Benjamin and Camila could only entertain

guests for them.

After a tiring day, Colin and Faye went to bed early.

The next morning, Faye was still dreaming when she heard Colin talking on the phone in the hallway.

She couldn't hear him clearly through the door. Faye rolled over again and fell asleep again.

She woke up again at almost eight o'clock. When Faye washed herself and went downstairs, Colin was

learning how to make soup with Cindy in the kitchen.

Faye tapped on the door frame. "Are you making soup?"

Cindy turned around. "Good morning, Mrs. Farrell. Breakfast is ready. Sit down and I'll bring it to you."

Colin walked over and kissed Faye on her cheek. "Good morning."

Faye's ears turned red as she saw Cindy pretending to be busy in the kitchen. "Good morning. Wash

your hands and have breakfast."

Colin pinched Faye's ear and walked towards the bathroom.

The phone vibrated in his pocket. Colin dried his hands and took out his phone. In the chat group of his

friends, Abbot was sending messages.

"Colin, you have roses in your house. Why did you ask us to buy roses for the proposal?"

Colin leaned against the washstand and texted, "Do as I tell you. Don't ask so many questions."

Abbot texted, "Making money is not easy."

Colin texted, "Cut the crap. You must be there at 10:30. If one flower is missing, you and Rebecca will

be over. Seize the time."

Abbot texted, "You're threatening me."

Colin didn't reply to Abbot, put his phone in his pocket, and walked out of the bathroom.

Half an hour later, Colin and Faye finished breakfast and drove to the community where the Nash Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

family had previously lived.

When they approached the destination, Faye's hand clenched tightly.

Colin noticed that and pulled over the car.

Faye took a breath and pretended to be calm. "Why are we stopping?"

Colin took Faye's hand, his thumb rubbing the back of her hand. "Honey, if you're upset, we won't go."

Faye's cold hand slowly relaxed, holding Colin's warm hand. "I'm fine."

Colin frowned. "Don't force yourself."

Faye lowered her eyes and glanced at Colin's hand. "I didn't. As you told me, people need to try to

move forward."

Colin said in a low voice, "If you feel upset, we will leave at any time."

Faye nodded. "Okay."

Watching the great changes along the road, Faye had mixed feelings.

She knew that Colin had done this for her and was deeply moved.

As the car slowly drove, Faye's face became solemn again.

Colin slowed down. He was about to say something when Faye touched his hand and said in a low

voice, "I'm fine."

Colin asked again, "Are you sure?"

Faye said, "I got this."

People often said that if a person didn't force themselves, they would never know how far they could

go.

But many times, people made up their minds to force themselves, not for themselves, but for those who

loved them deeply.

The car drove at a constant speed across a street, and in front of them was a large amusement park.

Faye's eyes instantly turned red. "Colin."

Colin looked at Faye gently and said in a low voice, "Honey, if your past is like thorns, I can't let those

thorns disappear. The only thing I can do is to cover them with roses."

Faye's heart was full of warmth.

A few minutes later, Colin parked his car at the entrance of the amusement park and asked Faye, "Do

you want to take a walk?"

Faye said, "Okay."

The amusement park was located on the site of Nash's previous house. It was like a dreamlike world

with white and pink.

They walked into the amusement park, their fingers interlocking. A tall guard walked forward with a

smile to greet them.

"Mr. Farrell, Mrs. Farrell."

Colin nodded.

When Faye looked away, the guard leaned and said in Colin's ear, "Colin, everything is ready."

Colin raised his eyebrows, puzzled.

The guard adjusted his hat and kept blinking at Colin.

Colin became even more confused.

The guard whispered, "Colin, it's me, Bryson."

"Abbot said this thing is very important, so every part needs to be guarded by our friends."

Colin pulled a wry face. "Abbot is really considerate."

Bryson straightened up with a proud expression on his face. "We must be considerate to our friends.

Let me tell you..."

Colin ignored him and walked with his arms around Faye's waist.

As they walked and stopped, Colin quietly led her to the proposal site.

On a path, they were stopped by a horticulturist in uniform. Colin noticed that he was Abbot's assistant

and had a nasty feeling.

Colin asked through his teeth, "What's the matter?"

The assistant said, "Mr. Farrell, would you like to come over and enjoy the little daisies with Mrs.

Farrell?"

Colin said in a deep voice, "What if I don't want to?"

The assistant looked embarrassed and whispered to Colin, "Mr. Farrell, I think you should come."

Colin couldn't help but feel that the biggest mistake he had ever made in his life was to entrust the

proposal ceremony to Abbot.

In the hope of the assistant, Colin turned around with a cold face and led Faye towards the opposite

direction of the proposal site.

At this moment, in the chat group, they were actively discussing.

Abbot said, "There aren't enough roses!! What should I do?"

Ethan said, "Buy some white roses."

Abbot said, "Does it work?"

Maxwell said, "Yes, as long as you use your blood to dye the flowers red."

Ethan asked, "How many more flowers do you need?"

Abbot said, "Not much. 9,213."

Next second...

Ethan left the chat group.

Matthew left the chat group.

Robert left the chat group.

Abbot didn't know what to say.

Maxwell said, "Loneliness is when you talk, and no one is listening."

When only three people were left in the group, Abbot felt angry. "Why don't you leave the group?"

Maxwell said, "My nephew will be proposing. As Colin's uncle, how can I leave?"

Abbot felt a bit relieved and said, "Let's do it. You get 5,000 flowers. I'll get the rest."

In one second...

Maxwell left the group.

Abbot gritted his teeth. "What a useless uncle."

Abbot picked up his coat and walked out of the office, thinking, "There should be time to go to our

manor to steal some roses."

At this moment, Maxwell was calling. Abbot picked it up. "Courting for death?"

Maxwell joked, "If you call me uncle, I will spare your life."
