My Beloved Has Risen from Death’s Embrace

CHAPTER 451

CHAPTER 451

Throughout every chapter of her life, she was the protagonist

There she was, dazzling on stage, fooling around with friends, sleeping serenely by the window, feeding stray cats in the woods, and conducting experiments in the lab. Each photo was inscribed with love for her.

At the bottom of the pile, there was a white summer uniform, with a beautifully painted iris near the right chest, its colors faded from the passage of time.

Xanthea sobbed uncontrollably, clutching the uniform, mindrops of tears streaming down her face, blurring the delicate flower.

“Xonnie, Xannie!”

Suddenly, a frantic voice echoed from outside.

Orion burst through the door, and at the sight of her, he rushed to embrace her tightly, as if trying to merge her into his very being.

“Xannie, please, don’t leave me, okay?” Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.

The man’s sharp brows furrowed, his voice, rough with emotion, carried a soulful plea laced with fear of losing her.

He had a nightmare where she was engaged to Matthew, pushed off the rooftop of the Nightshade Group, lying lifeless in a coffin. The dream felt so real it nearly drove him mad. He couldn’t bear the thought of a world without his Xannie, he just couldn’t He tightened his embrace, as Xanthea shook with unceasing sobs, murmuring his name, “Ori, Ori, Ori.”

After a long while, Orion, noticing her distress, gently lifted her tear–streaked face, his brows furrowed tight in concern, “What’s wrong. baby? Did I scare you? Or have I been neglecting you? I’m so sorry. I’ll never do it again. And you can’t scare me like that, okay?”

He could seriously be scared to death.

“Ori, I remember everything.” Xanthea said through her tears, sobbing continuously like a kid, Tm so sorry for forgetting you, making you wait all these years.”

Seeing the strewed photos, Onion realized she remembered everything

His Xannie. Head bowed, he tenderly kissed away her tears, his voice warm and indulgent. “It’s okay; waiting for you is my pleasure.” “On, I’ve always, always loved you. My feelings never changed.”

But she had forgotten him, hurt him, leaving him to live with memories alone for years. How much must he have suffered during the time?

Orion kissed her trembling eyelashes gently, sighing, “I’ve always, always loved you too, Xannie; my feelings never changed.” His love had only deepened, to the point of wanting her to become a part of him, overwhelming him.

Tears kept streaming down, feeling guilty, Xanthea unbuttoned his shirt and pressed a devoted kiss to the iris tattoo covering a faint scar on his chest

Orion’s expression shifted instantly, his Adam’s apple bobbing violently as he held her head, “Xannie.”

“Ori, ‘m sorry, so sorry.” She thought to herself, “In the years to come, I swear not to make you wait any longer.

Holding back her tears, she looked up at him earnestly, “Orion, let’s get married.”

Orion paused, his turbulent heart slowly calming, a fervent glow igniting in his eyes, “Okay”
