Chapter 11
{Ava! Just Give Me That Diamond}
Nadaline POV
The shit just blows up, I have always tried my best not to come across this son of a bitch but the heavens won’t want to agree to my words. Seeing what I cherish, coming out of that room with that mother fucking bastard makes me wanna have his face off this surface of earth.
Those eyes, that once look at me and took my innocence, that made my whole life double up, is fucking staring at me after disappearing years ago. I don’t trust this man one bit, and seeing him with Ava makes me scared. Uncle and niece talked, his words kept ringing in my head and I scoffed.
Made Ava and Gold excuse themselves by sending them back to the car. Now, it’s just me and Lucky standing. I walk towards in the fastest way I can and push him back to the room he came out of, shut the door angrily and I clear my throat.
“What the hell was that? ” I yelled while grabbing his collar.
“Seriously ” He smirked which angrier me the more. I pushed him to the door with my hand still on his collar.
“What were you doing with Ava, you son of a bitch? ” I roared angrily and pushed my hand to his neck.
“Still doing wrestling. Nice hands– around my neck bitch. ” He uttered with a sly smile on his lips.
“Your Ava baby is so innocent. I told her we are related and she didn’t–”
“Screw you… Of course she won’t believe such. ” I scoffed and tightened my grip around his neck.
“You think that? She didn’t at first but she did when I told her what happened between us. ” He uttered with a smirk. Slowly, my grip around his neck with his collar softened as it went back to its normal self.
In as much I try to run away from the truth, I find myself tangled around it. Reasons why I don’t like disclosing my past to Ava, despite knowing she’s old enough to know what is right and what is wrong. The shame of bringing myself to tell her my past keeps me running away from it.
If she believes his words, I can still have the chance to tell her everything and make her choose but my past will make her avoid the similar mistake. Having that short thought in me, I turn to look at him with a smile.
“I guess she was curious. That made her believe you Lucky. If not, she doesn’t give a damn about your words. ” I uttered with my teeth clasp against each other.
“Curious? A pause, She wasn’t Nada. She’s tired of you treating her like a kid. ” He uttered and I was stunned but my facial expression was just cool, not enough for him to notice my face.
Ava has not for once acted tired, so why will she tell him of all people. I scoffed when I finally got to put the pieces together.
“He’s trying to get more information about Ava by saying words she didn’t. Those corny tricks of his. None of it will work on me. ” I thought and turned to face him with my hand crossed on my chest.
“You want me to give you a stern warning Lucky, stay the fuck away from Ava. She isn’t the cool bitches you have a night with and trash it away–”
(Interrupted) “You think that? Wow! You must trust her so much to strongly say something she’s not new to. ” He uttered with a smirk on his lips. His words took a toll on me.
“What’s she not new to? Going out? Having sex? ” I thought and looked at him for a moment.
“For him to keep on dragging words with me, he must actually have a reason to. ” I thought and sat down on the single arm chair.
“What do you want, Lucky? ” I asked and he smiled.
“You sure you gonna give me what I want. ” He asked and I scoffed with my hand on my left cheek.
“I asked what you want? I didn’t say I will give. You still dumb with questions. ” I mumbled my last sentence and he heard them and looked at me.
“I know there’s a reason you met Ava in the first place, which was to get me. So what is it you want? If not because you met Ava first I won’t sit here, talking to a worthless person like the shit you are. ” I uttered and rolled my eyes.
“First, our dad—”
“Your dad! He’s your dad not mine— ” I interrupt him with a yell.
“You always want to run away from the truth but believe me when I say, you will always need your family Nada. Family is always forever– ”
“Family my foot. I yelled and stormed on my feet. What do you want, son of a bitch? ” I asked, looking so serious. He chuckled and walked to the door.
“Get out of my room. ” He uttered as he pointed his finger in the direction of the door.
“He knew, I hate when people say those words at me . He’s intentionally provoking me. ” I thought and walked faster at him, in a quick move. I pushed him to the wall but his strength overshadowed as he successfully pinned me to the wall.
“Do you think doing this to everyone you come across will make them think you are strong? ” He whispered in my ear as his breath hit against mine.
“I think doing this to you makes you see how weak you are Lucky —”
“Weak? He chuckled and looked at me. You are the weak fragile one Nadaline. ” He uttered with his teacher clasping against each other.
“I will tell you what I want. If you agree to give me, we will be fine but if you disagree, I will always have my way to get what I want, Nadaline… Bet my w— ”
“What the hell do you want? ” I yelled but he only smiled and brought his face closer to my ear.
“Ava! Just give me that diamond! ” He whispered and I lost the train of my thoughts.Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.
