I love you till the end, Mr. Buenavista

MYSTERY BOOK

When Samarra felt something touch her lips, she immediately opened her eyes wide to see who was daring to kiss her. However, she had an idea she wanted to be sure of.

“Cadden?”

He smiled and assisted her in sitting up straight. Samarra immediately turned around to see where they were. But all she sees are cars.

“Where are we?”

“Surprise!”

She frowned while observing Zachary’s face. She had no idea where he had taken her, as far as she knew. It appears that things went well based on his excited expression.

“Where?”

When he squeezes her cheek, she closes her eyes. Zachary quickly moves from the driver’s seat to the passenger seat to open the door for her.

When she discovered where he had taken her, she merely sighed.

How long has it been since she last visited these places? She had asked her parents for several years, but Samarra always wished they would keep their promises to her because they were too busy running their business. She hoped they lived simpler lives so she could always be with her parents. She bit her lower lip tightly to prevent the threatening tears from falling into her eyes. They rarely met at home because their business grew despite her parents’ busy schedule.

“Hey, what’s the matter?” Zachary was perplexed when he noticed Samarra crying while staring at the amusement park entrance. He still thought she’d enjoy it, but he appeared to have made a mistake. Because she unexpectedly hugged him, her tears became silent. Zachary couldn’t understand what was happening to Samarra, but he hugged her tightly to make her feel like she wasn’t alone no matter what was happening. It was the first time he noticed Samarra was so emotional.

He had no idea why Samarra was crying, but he was relieved because she had already shown him this side of herself. That means Samarra is comfortable with him.

“You make my worries?” When he saw Samarra no longer crying, he stroked her back.

“Please tell me what’s wrong. Don’t you want to be here? Do you recall anything negative about this place? Don’t tell me you had an ex-boyfriend and then started dating in this place. So you cry because you remember him. Is that correct, Samarra?”

Samarra raised her head in reaction to the last thing Zachary said to her. Will she have an ex? Wasn’t she even courted after having an ex? Doesn’t he realize she just got married without even flirting or dating anyone? She still had a plan to emote, which was unusual, but it appeared that she wouldn’t be able to carry it out. When Samarra became upset, she immediately turned her back on Zachary, wiped away her tears, and felt her face and nose turn red.

Gosh! You’re embarrassed, Samarra; how come you’re crying?

“Are you alright?”

She gave Zachary a slight nod and smile.

“So, tell me why you’re crying. Do you date your ex-boyfriend at this place?”

She laughed at him because so many things could make her cry. Why did Zachary believe she would shed tears for a man? She appreciates his effort because she thinks he is trying to compensate for her parents’ shortcomings. What if Zachary severs their bond? What will become of her?

“Could you please stop asking why I’m crying because of the man? So, I cried because… well, whatever. I’m already starving.”

She started to walk to the main gate of the Mazefair Kingdom. Zachary took her to the Mazefair Kingdom, a famous amusement park in the Philippines. She also didn’t want to tell the man more stories because she didn’t know what and where her place was in his life.

As they approached the ticket counter, Samarra stopped when she remembered something, and she immediately turned to Zachary behind her.

“I thought you wouldn’t remember having someone with you?” wrinkled Zachary’s brow as if dissatisfied that she had led the way.

“I remembered something.”

Zachary frowned as Samarra spoke. What does she remember? Will she admit that her ex-boyfriend remembers her?

“What?”

“I’m just wondering where we can get clothes. Could you take a look at me and then at you? We look like fools in our outfits, as if we’re going to a meeting, and then I’m wearing high heels.”

Zachary scratched his chin, thinking it was a big deal, or she’d admit to him that what she was crying about was her ex-boyfriend.

“We can buy here; there are clothing stores here, but let’s eat first; it’ll be hot on the skin if we ride right away.” Samarra nodded and took Zachary’s hand in hers.

She noticed the woman who looked at them as Zachary, and she waited in line at the ticket counter. Everyone seems to want Zachary’s attention. She remembered Ezekiel in this scene when they were together, shaken and smiling. However, whenever anyone approached them, Ezekiel introduced her as his girlfriend. So, in the end, the women almost snub her.

Zachary frowned as he examined Samarra, noticing her smile and shake.

Zachary frowned as he looked at Samarra, noticing her smile and shake.

“Hey?”

Samarra immediately turned to face him, her eyes questioning.

“Why are you smiling?”

“Huh?”

He grabbed Samarra by the waist and rested his chin on her shoulder.

“Why are you smiling? Hmm.” Despite her long sleeves, he kissed Samarra’s shoulder.

“Do you see any women here? It’s almost just you looking.” He immediately looked at what Samarra was saying and noticed a few people were staring at them.

“So, my wife is jealous?”

“Me? Jealous? You’re jealous of your ass. Cadden, keep your dreams alive.”Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

Zachary was stunned by Samarra’s statement. Samarra appears unresponsive when women look at him. Earlier, Samarra almost fired her secretary for trying to attract his attention.

“Hmm? Aren’t you jealous of those?”

Samarra laughed at Zachary’s question. If it’s just looking at him, she doesn’t have a problem; don’t pay attention openly.

“Hey, let’s go.” She slapped Zachary’s arm when she noticed they were next to pay for the ticket.

“Miss, two ticket rides, all you can,” Zachary said, pulling his wallet from his pocket. He immediately put the glow-in-the-dark bracelet ticket pass on Samarra when given the two tickets. After putting it on Samarra, he reached for one, but she just stared at him.

“Oh, you put it on me.” He hands the ticket to Samarra.

“Hmm.”

Frowning at Samarra’s refusal, he looked intently at Samarra, smiling sideways.

“If you don’t want to put it on me, I’ll kiss you in front of many people.”

Samarra quickly turned around to see if Zachary was serious about threatening her. When she noticed that he didn’t have a smile, she immediately took his bracelet ticket pass, but suddenly he raised his hand.

“Don’t… I think I want that-”

“Give me that; we’re already in line.” Samarra pulled Zachary’s hand away from the ticket queue, looking at them next to them in the row.

“I thought you didn’t want to?”

“Just kidding, so give it to me, so we can go in and eat,”

“‘Don’t, I can do it. Just kiss me.”

Zachary closed his eyes and sniffed at her. She laughed suddenly at what he looked like as if he wasn’t ashamed of the people looking at them.

“Hey, you have a lot of me, and I’m hungry; please feed me first so you can smack my lip.” Samarra’s words made Zachary laugh.

Samarra complained as if she hadn’t eaten anything in a year. He entered The Mazefair Kingdom while holding Samarra’s hand. Life with Samarra is like reading a mystery book. What will happen next is difficult to predict.
