Chapter 94 Girlfriend to Aunt
"Nice to meet you, Uncle Charles." Margaret bowed and greeted him sweetly even before she saw
Elvis' uncle.
She thought that elders would probably like polite girls more.
Margaret felt that she had done a good job. She looked up to see Elvis' uncle reaction.
Yet, she saw a familiar handsome face.
Charleston!
What the f*ck.
Why was he here?
Margaret felt that her heart beating rapidly when she saw Charleston's extremely gloomy face.
She felt as if her heart was about to beat right out of her chest.
She clearly saw how moody Charleston was.
However, Elvis, the rascal, did not feel anything out of the ordinary.
After all, Elvis's impression of Charleston had always been like this.
Indifferent and unapproachable.
Therefore, Elvis did not feel that anything was amiss.
"Uncle." Elvis also nodded. He pulled Margaret, who was a little stiff, to sit across from Charleston.
All of a sudden, the room fell into a state of silence.
The quietness was a little weird. Ice almost formed from the cold, rigid silence.
"Ha." After a long time, Charleston sneered. "Elvis, is this your girlfriend?"
"Yes, Uncle. Her name is Margaret. Isn't she stunning?" Elvis, this rascal obviously did not know how to
read the room.
"Yes, she's very stunning indeed!" Charleston curled up his thin lips. His dark, cold eyes were fixed on
Margaret.
Margaret felt guilt gripping itself around her heart.
She tried hard to avoid Charleston's gaze.
Then she thought that this was not right.
She did not to do anything wrong. So, why did she have to avoid his gaze?
Therefore, she instantly looked right at him to meet his gaze.
At this moment, Charleston only wanted to kiss this seductive liar so hard that she could only catch her
breath under his own body.
This evil woman.
She even dared to lie to him.
In the end, she and his nephew showed up in front of him.
She even showed up as his nephew's girlfriend!
That, in and of itself, was unforgivable!
"Uncle, what's wrong with you?" Finally, Elvis realized that there was something wrong with Charleston.
"I'm upset because the little kitten at home is being disobedient." Charleston answered casually.
Margaret knew that she was the kitten Charleston was referring to.
"Uncle, you have a cat?" Elvis was very surprised.
"Yes. A cat with little sharp claws."
The corner of Margaret's mouth twitched.
"We'll have to see it another day." Elvis nodded. "Uncle, what would you like to eat? Order whatever
you like. It's my treat."
"It's okay." Charleston's gaze swept over Margaret and Elvis. "Elvis, are you serious about her? Is she
just a random girl you found just to shut your mother up?"
Although he did not get along much with this nephew, Charleston was skilled at judging people.
Elvis was someone who would very likely to do such a thing.
"No way!" Elvis said seriously, "Uncle, I have known Margaret for a very long time. We've been through
a lot of things together. There is nothing fake about our relationship."
"Been through a lot of things together?" Charleston's eyes grew darker. He held the glass in his hands
with so much force that a crack appeared..
At this time, there were only two words in Margaret's mind.
Game over!
"Yes!" Elvis nodded.
"Really?" Charleston turned his head. This time, he was asking Margaret.
She felt that both of them were looking at her.
Margaret felt like she was in the worst place in the world.
"Yes, yes..."
"Ha!" Charleston sneered coldly.
Elvis suddenly felt that there was something off about his uncle.
He used to be indifferent and aloof. But he was acting differently. At this moment, he looked so moody
that it felt like he was going to eat someone.
"Why do I feel like my uncle is a little weird today? It feels like I had just snatched his wife away." Elvis
frowned and whispered into Margaret's ear.
He said it so softly that it could only be heard by both of them.
Ha, wasn't that exactly what he was doing?
Margaret's mouth twitched a little.
All of a sudden, she felt weird.
D*mn it, why did she think she was his wife?
Margaret felt herself going mad.
"Margaret, what do you want to eat?" Elvis asked to ease the extremely awkward atmosphere in the
room
Margaret just wanted to hit her head on a pillar. She responded, "Anything will do."
"Anything?" Elvis frowned slightly.
"What did that mean?" He thought to himself.
"Why don't we order some hotpot?" Charleston suddenly said, "My girlfriend likes those."
Could there be hotpot in a hotel that was under the Emperor Group?
That was not the point. If Mr. Limbaugh said there was, then it meant they had it.
However, Elvis was taken by surprise. He asked, "Uncle Charles, you have a girlfriend?" Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
"Yes." Charleston nodded.
Margaret's eyes founds its way back to Charleston again.
"Is she beautiful? What is her name?" Elvis instantly seemed like he had discovered a big secret.
After all, his uncle had been celibate for many years.
He had never heard of any female companion around him.
Yet at this very moment, Charleston admitted that he had a girlfriend.
How could Elvis not be excited?
"She's beautiful. Her name is Margaret Simons." Charleston answered while keeping a straight face.
"Oh, it's great that she's beautiful. Margaret Simons. She has a nice name. Margaret Si.." Elvis nodded
as he repeated what his uncle said. Suddenly, he realized something that something wasn't adding up.
His head instantly froze at the thought, "Mar... Margaret Simons? Uncle, what did you say your
girlfriend's name was?"
"Margaret Simons!" Charleston repeated with a smile.
Elvis' eyes were wide open. He twisted his neck stiffly and looked at Margaret.
Margaret was not surprised at all. She just looked at Charleston, her head splitting open from a
headache and said, "Mr. Limbaugh, enough with the nonsense. When did I become your girlfriend?"
"Nonsense?" Charleston's mouth curved upwards into a smile. Suddenly, he stood up, went to her and
hugged her from the back. "No one can compete with your little mouth when it comes to nonsense.
Little one, how dare you lie to me? You're getting gutsy these days."
"You, you..." Elvis felt his little heart breaking.
What was one supposed to feel when they saw their uncle hugging their girlfriend and claiming that she
would be their future aunt?
Would one not feel like they were the most unfortunate person in the whole world?
Elvis could almost hear the sound of his own heart breaking.
"Oh god, how did it end up this way?" Elvis thought to himself.
"Margaret, you, you and my uncle, you two..." Elvis stammered. He was an incoherent mess.
"Er, me and Mr. Limbaugh, who is also your uncle..." Margaret sighed, looking as if she had seen
through life and death. "We're acquainted with one another!"
