Fall for You After Divorce

Chapter 18

Chapter 18

She bit her lower lip and said coldly, “Aren’t you afraid that Kiley will know?”

Maxim gazed at Briana coldly. He said word by word, “It’s none of your business. You just need to answer yes or no.”

Briana took a deep breath, took a step back, and looked at him coldly.

“No!”

Maxim sneered, “It seems that you don’t want to divorce me that much.”

Briana had calmed down. She looked at Maxim indifferently and said, “I don’t need to get a divorce in this way. You will agree anyway.”

Seeing the determination in her eyes, Maxim felt restless. He said coldly, “Get out!”

Briana turned around and walked out of the master bedroom. The cold gaze behind her finally disappeared.

Soon it was Desmond’s birthday. Early in the morning, Desmond called Zane. Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

“Will Mr. Yoder come today?”

Although Maxim was Briana’s husband, everyone in the Schneider family dared not neglect him. After all, the Schneider family won many cases of major cooperation using the relationship between the Schneider family and Maxim.

Maxim’s arrival at Desmond’s birthday party would make the Schneider family thrive.

Zane was having breakfast. He said, “Dad, don’t worry. Even if Briana can’t get Mr. Yoder over, don’t you believe Kiley?”

“I almost forgot about it. Okay. Then I’ll go to work.”

After hanging up the phone, Zane looked at Kiley and said, “Go and call Mr. Yoder. You must let him come to your grandpa’s birthday party today.”

Kiley felt that Zane and Desmond were too nervous. She said lightly, “Dad, what’s the rush? Since Maxim has promised me, he will come. Calling him again would make our Schneider family appear to have other intentions.”

Zane nodded and said, “Well, when Mr. Yoder is here later, remember to take him to see your grandfather immediately.”

“Got it. I have to do my hair and buy a dress. I’ll be excused.”

Kiley arrived at the biggest mall in Bridenville.

Kiley and Adeline Ponce chatted while walking. Adeline was Kiley’s best friend, and she had just returned from abroad.

“Adeline, you won’t leave this time, will you?”

With a smile on her face, Adeline nodded and said, “My work in Mekton has been handed over. If there are no other problems, I should settle down in Bridenville.”

Kiley looked at her teasingly, “You returned to Bridenville for Oliver, right?”

Adeline and Oliver had a relationship. Later, Adeline chose to go

abroad and break up with Oliver for the sake of her career. During these years, Oliver never had a new girlfriend. Everyone knew that Oliver was waiting for Adeline.

Shyness flashed across Adeline’s face. She gave Kiley a blaming look and said, “Don’t talk nonsense. I think Bridenville is close to my home, so I can spend more time with my parents.”

Seeing her shyness, Kiley didn’t continue to tease Adeline. Kiley said with a smile, “Oliver will also come to my grandfather’s birthday party tonight. I will create a chance for you to be alone with him.”

Adeline shook her head. “No need, I still have some misunderstandings with him. I will figure out a way myself.”

“Alright. If you need any help, just tell me.”

“Well, by the way, there is something I want to tell you.”

“What is it?”

Adeline took out her phone, clicked on a video, and handed the phone to Kiley, “I saw this in Charm Club the day I just returned. I’ve been hesitating whether I should tell you.

When Kiley saw the overlapping figures of Maxim and Briana in the video, the smile on her face gradually turned cold.
