Chapter 5 imprison
It was a good sleep, with a warm and soft bed.
When Susan woke up, it was noon. The heavy curtain blocked out everything, including the sunlight.
The room was frighteningly dark, and she sat up from the bed. The tearing pain made her draw in a breath, and then she quickly felt around, the sheets were clean and there were no blood on her body.
There wasn’t any blood, and she breathed a sigh of relief.
The baby was still there.
She carefully got out of the bed, unclothed.
Wearing her clothes and walking out of the room, the whole house was a little scary empty. She came down from upstairs, looked at the large courtyard, and began to calculate in her mind about leaving.
He would like nothing more than to have the child lost, how could he possibly promise her to keep this child.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
Susan let out a bitter smile, hand touching her belly, and her heart gradually calmed down. This child is her life, no one can snatch it away.
She walked to the door with this in mind, and just as the door opened she saw two people wearing sunglasses.
Susan trembled and then calmly walked towards the door, but before she could go out those people reached out and blocked her way.
“Please go back.” The tone of those people is very strong, even through a layer of sunglasses, she can still feel the cold gaze.
“Is that what Mr. Walker meant?”
“Mr. Walker’s meaning is that if you step out of here, the child in your belly will be in danger.”
“I know.” Susan leaned against the door, worried.
Susan covered her belly and slowly made her way to the kitchen.
The place was too clean and cold, without a trace of life. She opened the refrigerator, there are a lot of things in it, and she took some bread out.
She took a bite and then leaned against the refrigerator. The bread was dry with little flavor, but she felt a bitter taste.
Somehow, tears came out again uncontrollably. She wiped a handful and then shoved another bite of bread into her mouth.
Susan didn’t know what was wrong with her, she cried for a long time holding the bread, and then there was only a crumb of bread left.
What can she do, what can she do for her child. She is just a person, an ordinary person that no one can hurt.
A person whose father does not care, and whose mother is dead. And the child in the belly does not know if she can make him born in peace.
After eating some more and covering her bulging belly, she had a sense of security.
Looking at it, Susan laughed silently, her eyes drifting, as if she saw the little thing in her belly desperately trying to draw the meager nutrients from her food.
She smiled back to her room and laid down on the bed, closed her eyes, and patted her belly. Unknowingly, she fell asleep and subconsciously pulled the covers towards herself.
When Chandler came back, the person who was guarding the door immediately told him what about today.
Chandler didn’t say anything and went straight into the house, the door was flung hard shut.
Susan was still asleep and did not know that he had back.
She was dreaming sweetly, and a smile of satisfaction spilled from her face.
Chandler stood at the door of the room and kicked the door open with no expression on his face. The loud sound directly woke her up, and Susan’s sleepiness disappeared without a trace.
Looking back at the person at the door of the room, her heart couldn’t help but lift again.
Chandler walked toward her, his expression was neither good nor bad.
Susan wanted to say something but did not know what to say, but only watched him walk over. The heart instinctively tensed up, although it did not know what he was going to do.
Chandler frowned at her startled look, and his irritation grew even more.
