Chapter 12 A Love Affair
"Langford Group acquired Sky Media, and Mr. Langford had a gorgeous girlfriend now!"
After clicking to zoom the picture in, Tina saw Samuel standing next to Sky Media's superstar Annie
Page with a glass of champagne in his hand and thought they looked a perfect match.
She sneered, exhaled to dispel the depression in her chest, and opened the address book to prepare
for the battle.
It was nine o'clock in the morning now, so the people of the Langford Group's Secretariat must have
arrived at the company.
Tina dialed Ellen's number, and the latter instantly answered the call.
"Is that Ellen?" Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
"Yes," Ellen replied hesitantly, "Tina?"
Tina picked up her cup, walked to the pantry, and lowered her voice when saying, "I resigned. I am
afraid you have problems now. So, I'm calling to ask whether you have any questions to ask."
Ellen sighed and immediately said emotionally, "Tina, you guessed it right! Since you left, the office has
been in chaos."
Tina smiled, looked down at her fingers, and said softly, "Do you have time to come to my company this
noon? What about we have lunch together?"
The Langford Group's headquarters was in the center of the city, while Tina's small company was near
the suburb. So, the distance was far.
Ellen said hesitantly, "Noon? But your company is too far away. I'm afraid I don't have enough time
during the lunch break."
Tina clicked her tongue and said, "It is indeed inconvenient. But I have some notes about Mr.
Langford's living habits as well as some precautions. If we don't have a talk face to face, I'm afraid I
can't explain them to you clearly."
Tina bet Ellen was fighting for the position of chief secretary like the other people in the office after she
had left. Tinahad risked her life to get such a "safetyguide", so she believedEllenwould be tempted.
"Okay, I'll go meet you."
Sure enough, Ellen agreed after hesitating for a moment.
Tina smiled confidently and hung up the phone.
No one else was in the pantry now, so it was quiet. She looked out through the window and felt a little
ironic. She had said she wanted to get rid of Samuel. But now, she was trying her best to borrow his
power.
When she was in a trance, the door of the pantry was pushed open.
Turning her head back, she saw Coco walking inside indifferently.
Coco had a gentle name but was a cold person.
Seeing Tina nodding at her, she just glanced at her.
But when Tina intended to go out, she suddenly spoke.
"Give up that order's sales commission. Tiffany is a slut and has slept with Victor."
Tina was a little surprised to hear her say it so explicitly.
"I see. Thank you for reminding me."
Coco leaned against the water dispenser and snorted, "I have no intention to help you but just think
you're weird. You had worked as a secretary for five years, but you don't look like a secretary at all."
Tina withdrew her hand from the doorknob, turned around to look at her, and asked, "What should a
secretary look like?"
Coco raised her eyebrows, looked out through the window, and said, "A secretary should look like
Tiffany who wins by sleeping with her supervisor."
Tina was at a loss for words because Coco had hit her pain point.
There was no difference between her and Tiffany. However, Samuel was much nobler and more
generous than Victor. She hadn't developed the ability to act coquettishly because he had always given
her what she deserved before she could ask.
When the atmosphere became intense, there were suddenly loud noises outside. So, Tina and Coco
looked outward at the same time.
"You b*tch! How dare you seduce my husband? I will kill you."
"Ah!"
As soon as Tina and Coco went out, they saw a well-dressed woman throwing a Hermes bag at Tiffany.
Some people surrounded them and persuaded the woman as a mere formality. Everyone could see
she had an extraordinary background, so no one was willing to offend a big shot for Tiffany.
Tina recognized her at a glance. She was Sandy, the young lady of Green Real Estate Group. And she
was also Sylvia's friend.
She instinctively wanted to go forward to make peace but retracted her leg after taking merely a step.
Sandy knew her and always looked down on secretaries. So, she might humiliate her if she tried to
help Tiffany.
Moreover, Tiffany deserved it. If she had not hooked up with Sandy's husband, the latter would not
have come to teach her a lesson
Tina bypassed the crowd and returned to her desk.
It was noisy outside. And Sandy did not restrain herself until Victor went out to apologize.
Listening to their conversation, Tina knew Sandy had slapped Tiffany because the latter had asked
Victor to buy her two cars.
"Who do you think you are? Do you think you're qualified to marry into a rich family?"
"If he divorces me and marries you, he will be unable to support the family!"
"You're having a pipe dream!"
Sandy had scolded Tiffany for a long time outside.
Hearing her words, Tina had a headache because of a guilty conscience although others might not
have any feelings about them.
She shook her head vigorously to get rid of the negative emotions and began to think about how to sell
cars.
Time passed quickly. Soon after the turmoil ended, it was time for lunch.
Tina went to the lavatory to fix her makeup. When coming out, she received a call from Ellen.
Ellen drove a Mercedes-Benz and wore a Chanel suit. So, as soon as she arrived at the sales
department, everyone saw she was different.
