Billionaire husband's pursuit for his wife

Contract

"Nina, looks like you are upset now. Let's talk about this calmly tomorrow over lunch. Come, sit down and eat your dinner" William pushed his anger down and coaxed Nina. But Nina is not in the mood to play a happy family with them.

"I lost my appetite" with that said, she walked away in the general direction of her room. She quickly packed everything she needed before she left her father's house.

"What is wrong with her?" Silas asked no one in general.

William frowned, but didn't reply.

'If Nina really decided to divorce Theodore, then no one can save me from this crisis. I need to coax her gently to change her decision ' he decided.

The next morning, Nina received a call from Ella, urging her to quickly come to 'Fragrance'. The company owned by the Vincent's. Nina skipped breakfast and rushed to the company. Ella didn't mention what happened. But her tone said it all. It is urgent.

The moment Nina stepped inside the lobby of Fragrance, she spotted Ella who was waiting for her. Ella ushered Nina to the top floor where a panel of directors, shareholders, and the technical team of 'Fragrance 'were waiting for her.

"Here she is. Nina Mor..." before Ella could finish, Nina cut her off with a smile.

"Hello, I am Nina Davis" Nina introduced herself.

A look of understanding passed between Nina and Ella.

"Is she the same woman who gave you those incense formulas?" one of the directors inquired.

"Yes" Ella replied proudly.

"Well Miss, we decided to launch testers based on the formulas you gave us. And we are delighted to announce that they are a huge hit. We are receiving millions worth of pre orders per each new scent. To meet the demand, we need to start the production immediately. All of us have unanimously decided to sign a contract with you. You will be given the position of the head of the technical team. Along with that, if you are willing to sign five years of bond with us, Miss Vincent is willing to offer twenty percent of company shares to you as a token of our appreciation" one of the directors, who is also Ella's father in law spoke gently. He is the only person in the Vincent family who supports Ella. But He is old and couldn't be of much help to her.

Nina was pleasantly surprised to hear this. She turned to look at Ella, who is grinning from ear to ear.

"You know what you did today?" Nina asked softly.

Ella thought for a moment before replying.

"I gave you a job?" she spoke as if she asking rather than replying.

Nina smiled softly.

"No, you showed me that you trust me. Ella, no one has ever trusted me the way you did. Not my biological father, or the man whom I am about to divorce. Thankyou" she spoke feeling moved and overwhelmed. Ella hugged Nina.

"Well, you didn't throw me into the jail for almost killing you. Instead, you gave me your incenses which saved my husband's dream. This is the least I could do for you" she replied.

James Vincent, Ella's father-in-law looked at them with a fond smile. He is happy that Ella found someone who genuinely likes her. He can foresee a strong bond forming between the two.

Nina quickly finished the procedure. She signed the contract and officially became a part of the 'Fragrance' team.

"Well, see you tomorrow at work" Nina said goodbye to Ella.

"Where to?" she asked with a curious smile.

Nina pulled out the divorce agreement which she signed.

"I am going to take these to Mr. Morrison. I am planning to finalize our divorce today" Nina said. She is pleased that her voice never wavered despite the ache in her heart. Ella gave Nina a thumbs up.

"Well, don't let his handsomness affect your decision" she teased to cheer Nina.

Nina grinned.

"It's a good thing that I am immune to his handsomness now" she replied.

After saying goodbye to Ella, Nina went directly to the Morrison group. But the receptionist near the lobby didn't recognise Nina and refused to allow her inside.

"We cannot allow you inside without an appointment Miss" the receptionist informed Nina.

Nina didn't bother calling Theodore. Because she knows that he wouldn't answer her calls.

"Well then, in that case, please give these papers to Mr. Morrison. Tell him that Nina gave these papers to him" Nina handed over the papers near the front desk before turning to leave. But the moment she turned around, she stumbled into someone.

"I am so..." her apology died in her throat when she saw who the man is. It's none other than her soon to be Ex husband.

"What a coincidence" she murmurred with a cold look.

Her eyes lack the usual warmth it holds when she is facing him. Instead, all she could give him is her cold indifference.

He is not alone. His assistant Neel is a step behind him.

"What are you doing here?" Theo asked Nina. His expression shows his indifference and distrust towards the woman infront of him.

Nina is used to seeing this from him. It used to hurt her before. But after watching him with Chelsea in that hospital, a part of her died there. So his lack of affection is not at all bothering her.

Nina calmly picked up the divorce agreement from the reception desk and offered him the papers. When he refused to take it, she slapped the papers on his chest coldly.

Everyone gasped with shock at her audacity. Theodore is known for his coldness. No one dares to offend him. But today Nina did it openly.

'Well, boss might kill Mrs. Morrison today' Neel thought.

Theo on the other hand caught Nina by her elbow and pulled her along towards his cabin. Neel hastily followed after him. As her leg and arm are still not healed, she struggled to walk. But she didn't show him how much it is hurting her.
