Chapter 25 Sally Was Embarrassed
Chapter 25 Sally Was Embarrassed
Diana stared at the entrance blankly, expecting Judson would show up, but he didn’t…
Endless sorrow and pain coursed through Diana’s body…
Jake noticed her sorrow and gulped a mouthful red wine, saying, “Diana, I really don’t care you were
another guy’s wife. I really don’t care. Would you please give me a chance?”
Diana gave him a ghost smile and asked, “If I were your wife, would you be pleased to wash my feet?
Would you be pleased to let me hit and curse you? Would you be pleased to be at my mercy?”
“Hmm…” Jake was speechless and dumbfounded before answering, “No man in the world could
possibly meet your demands…”
Diana stood up, shaking her head. “No. There’s only one man can do. Thank you for your dinner, but I
don’t think we are meant to be together. I’m leaving this city as I knew about nobody but my father
here. Now that he passed away, I have to leave…”
Jake didn’t want her t leave. “Diana, are you serious?”
Diana nodded, “Yes. I’m going to find him who are willing to love me with all his heart and soul, who
can always put up with my beating and cursing. I…I just want to ask him in his face about his promise
that he would stay with me forever to make me laugh whenever I am upset. Now that I feel upset,
where is he now?”
Diana’s tears streamed down as she rattled about Judson’s promise. Ignoring Jake’s attachment to her,
she left with her luggage…
Jake could see that Diana was telling the truth, which disgraced him. He didn’t have the courage to
persuade her into staying with him as his love for her wasn’t enough compared to her true love…
After walking out of the restaurant, Diana checked in a hotel in the late night. She texted a message to
the chat group of her working staff that she left the city and gave the company to Sally.
…
The night in autumn is much longer. Diana lost in her thoughts for all the night. On the next morning,
Bruce called her to meet her at noon.
After getting up, she went to River Park where Judson and she had been, and she stayed there for
three hours. She didn’t leave until Bruce sent her a WeChat message that he had set off…
Bruce and Diana sat at table face to face in a suite of a luxury restaurant.
Bruce looked at Diana’s tired expression and furrowed his eyebrows. “You don’t look well. Let’s take
you to hospital.”
Diana shook her head and her eyes were shifted to Bruce. “I’m fine, Mr. Hill. By the way, may I ask you
a question?”
Bruce nodded and said, “Okay. Go ahead…”
“Are you Judson’s friend?” Diana asked him.
Bruce frowned and nodded. “Yep. He’s been my friend since college. As you know, a year ago, Judson
asked me to help you with the mess. And he found me again last night…”
Diana gulped and pushed, “Could you please tell me where’s he now?”
Bruce shook his head. “He once said he was going back to Y City, but I’m not sure where he is now.
And his phone has powered off for a while as he may change his phone…”
Diana’s heart clenched as she nodded.
Bruce continued, “Miss Diana, I have a question, too. Why did you give away your company to your RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
mother…?”
Diana gave him a bitter smile. “She’s not the one that gave my birth, and she doesn’t love me for me. I
don’t want she to control my life. Also, I’m going to leave this city and never come back unless
something happens…”
Bruce nodded and looked at her luggage, saying, “So, you’re leaving today?”
Diana nodded. “Yes. Just after our dinner.”
“Where to go?” Bruce continued to ask.
“Y City, perhaps. I want to see if we are star-crossed lovers…” Diana took a deep breath.
“Well, fine. I’ll let my driver take you to the airport…” Bruce nodded as he didn’t know what to say…
…
At 2 p.m., in the boss’ office of Ray Group, a beautiful female secretary respectfully said to Bruce, “Mr.
Hill, Miss Diana’s plane has taken off…”
“Okay…” Bruce nodded.
Suddenly, Bruce ordered her when she was about to leave, “Crash down ZY Media before you go
home. I’m waiting for it…”
ZY Media was the name of Diana’s company which had been given to Sally.
His secretary nodded and went out of his office.
Early in the morning, Sally got to ZY Media and took over Diana’s job. She spent the whole morning on
a meeting with all the staff taking part in. She felt delightful when she heard the staff called her “Boss
Sally” one by one…
She once thought she should sell the company, but now she planned to keep it running as she found all
the departments function well.
“Amy, what the fuck are your sales department doing? You can’t work without fucking Rosy, right?”
Sally growled at a girl in her office.
Amy was just a rookie graduating from university, and she burst out crying as she was scared by
Sally’s fury.
“Don’t fucking cry! Get fucking out of my company if you don’t want to be here.” Sally was eager to
expel some staff to establish her prestige.
At the same time, the door of her office was pushed open, which irritated her as nobody was allowed to
open the door without her permission. She instantly riled up and roared, “Get the fucking out…”
However, the staff totally ignored her fury and sneered, slamming his resignation letter on Sally’s desk.
“Who the hell are you, bitch? You don’t deserve our loyalty as Ray Group say they’ll hire us all, and the
wage is double times the amount of ours here…Goodbye and screw you…”
Then he grabbed Amy by her arm. “Let’s go to Ray Group now, and we’ll get double wages there…”
After their leaving, all the staff in ZY Media followed them and left for Ray Group…Some even
destroyed lots of project files and materials…
After all, they’d work for Ray Group who was powerful enough to crash down ZY Media…
Frozen and dumbfounded, Sally sank onto her ass as she found all her staff had left the
company…
