Chapter 841
Chapter 841 Sage narrowed her eyes and slapped away his hands.
“Are you kidding me?”
“I wouldn‘t dare to.”
Jace took back his hands and flashed a wide grin at her.
Annoyed, Sage tossed her phone to him. “Unlock it yourself.”
Jace took the phone, pressed the last finger of his left hand on the screen, and unlocked the phone.
Sage was rendered speechless. Who would use the fingerprint of their last finger to unlock their phone ? Sage thought that Jace was just simply weird. Meeting her skeptical gaze, Jace explained, “My other fingers are calloused, only the last finger seems fine.”
Sage looked at his hands. She did feel that his hands got a little rougher than before. She guessed that her parents must have trained him hard during the past half– year. If not, Jace could not have recovered this fast. After unlocking the phone, Jace turned on the vide o of the interview. Sage removed her shoes, sat down on the sofa, crossed her legs together, and adjus ted herself until she was in a comfortable position. She then heard Jace asking softly, “Can I sit?” “Sit! It ‘s not like you‘re being punished.”
Sage grabbed a pillow and hugged it. While Jace sat down next to her. Sage then said, “There‘s coffee and tea. Feel free to drink anything you want.”
For some reason, Sage‘s assistants were nowhere to be seen and Sage could not be bothered to look f or them. Hence, she did not ask for them to make her and Jace drinks.
“Alright, I‘ll go make some tea.”
Jace got up onto his feet and put on the kettle for hot water. He then went through the tea collection tha t Sage had in her office. There were some very expensive teas in her collection.
Sage said, “There‘s a box of Darjeeling tea on your right. I brought it back from Tim‘s tea plantation back in Yathein. It‘s not bad. You might want to try some of that.” Jace found the box of Darjeeling tea. “Is this the one?” “Yeah.‘
“Alright.”
Jace poured the loose tea leaves into a teapot and left the tea to brew.
Concentrating on the interview video, Sage had a pillow in her arms and was supporting her head with her hands.
The team did a good job on editing and post– production. The flow was good and points were emphasized correctly. Sage thought that she performed she expected. And...
“You look amazing on–screen.” Jace returned to the seat next to her and said what was on her mind.
Sage responded, “Right. I‘m sure they edited and added beauty filters to my face. Of course, I‘d look be
“That‘s not what I meant.”
Jace went on to explain, “On–screen or in real life, you look the same. But you stand out more on– screen, and you look like a natural. You‘re pleasing to the eyes.” © 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.
Sage threw a glance at him and said nothing. “What‘s wrong?” Sage replied, “It‘s nothing.” She was wondering when Jace beca sat side by side on the couch while watching the video as they sipped on the tea that was brought back
Sage remembered having a long conversation with Sam Holland. Even after post– production, an episode of the show would last approximately fifty minutes. The show filmed how she spe
