He had come looking for Preslie because of the matter between Yesseca and the president. Now he had put that aside for the time being because of how depressed Preslie was.

She paused for a moment then continued, "Do you know how ruthless Tremaine was to Yesseca? He broke her heart! How on earth can they ever be together again? Every other couple in the world might be able to get back together, but Tremaine and Yesseca would be impossible!"
Sheldon's expression grew even more solemn. He said softly, "That's why I have to specifically come to you to explain what happened. Back then, Treamine acted ruthlessly to Yesseca because of a terrible misunderstanding. You see..."
Half an hour later, Sheldon had told Preslie everything. When she heard the entire explanation, her mind had gone blank.
She always knew that Qiana wasn't a nice person, but she never imagined that she would have lied about being Montez's birth mother! She had lied to everyone!

Preslie's mind was working overtime. She then asked, "If Qiana isn't Montez's birth mother, then who is?"
Sheldon had asked Tremaine the same question.
But Sheldon gave her the same answer he received, "The president doesn't know. If he wanted to, he could launch an investigation but he doesn't plan to do that at all. He said that as far as he is concerned, there is only one person fit to be Montez's mother, Yesseca."
Preslie was shocked.
Tremaine had really said that. He must be really serious about getting back together with Yesseca. But... would Yesseca agree to this?
Preslie found this to be a very difficult thing to work out.
She then asked, "Has Tremaine found out where Yesseca is?"
"He has." Sheldon said. "However, he knows that Yesseca is still unwilling to forgive him. That's why he wants me to speak with you about it first. He knows you're her best friend and would know how to break the news to her."
Preslie quietly thought about this.
Before Preslie could respond,
Sheldon continued, "Preslie, to tell you the truth. The president never got over Xesseca. He had made his way to Agaphen City long before he found out the truth. He came to see Yesseca several times without her noticing. He simply watched from a distance and every time he's near, he would stare at her for a long time. He really loves her very much."
