Mission: From Divorcee to Millionaire

Chapter 130

During their tussle, Selena's blouse was nearly undone, her sleeves slipping down to reveal her delicate shoulders. Everett left a vivid red mark on her collarbone that stood out starkly against her skin. Everett's breath turned heavy.

Selena wasn't about to give in easily. She twisted, trying to kick him away, and managed to leave two scratches on his face with her nails. This only fueled his irritation.

With swift precision, he flipped her around, pulling her onto his lap and securing her waist. He kissed her tender neck and whispered in her ear, "Selena, just behave!" "I'll give you everything you want..."

Selena's cheeks flamed with embarrassment. Disgust and resistance welled up inside her, but her strength was draining away. She felt dizzy and lightheaded and could only slump back against his shoulder, feeling utterly helpless. Everett rarely went to such lengths with her, maybe because he didn't know how, or maybe he just couldn't be bothered. Their times together were usually straightforward satisfying physical urges without any lingering warmth.

These tender moments were so rare that you could count them on one hand. For a moment, Selena couldn't discern if she was dreaming or awake.

Then, the office door suddenly swung open, and someone stormed in.

"Mr. Bennett, this urgent file..." The intruder's words died mid-sentence, their eyes wide with shock as the documents slipped from their hands.

Everett moved quickly, grabbing a blanket from the sofa and wrapping it around Selena, covering her completely. Only then did he look up, his lips barely moving as he coldly said, "Out!"

The fewer the words, the more menacing they were.

"Y-Yes..."

Joy's legs wobbled, her lips trembled, and she could not string a sentence together. She turned and stumbled out, slamming the door behind her.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Once outside, she burst into tears, covering her mouth as she dashed away.

The sudden interruption snapped Selena back to reality, anger boiling over. When she realized that Everett still wanted to continue, she lifted her hand and slapped him.

"Everett, don't push your luck!" she spat, teeth clenched.

Her slap was weak, more like a gentle tap, but it was shocking for Everett, who had never been treated this way.

Even Josh hadn't dared to lay a hand on him.

Suddenly, Everett found himself

losing interest. He kept holding her,

resting his forehead against her neck as he caught his breath. Eventually, as his desire cooled, he pushed her away with a cold demeanor.

Standing up, he zipped his pants, buckled his belt, and straightened his clothes, transforming back into the polished, dignified CEO of Bennett Corporation.

By contrast, Selena looked a wreck.

Two buttons were missing from her

blouse, her skirt lay crumpled on the floor, and her nude stockings were shredded and lost somewhere in the room. The red and purple marks marring her skin were a painful sight.

But Everett thought it wasn't his fault. Her skin was just too sensitive. It could mark at the slightest touch.

Selena glanced at her own chaotic state, muttering curses as she tried to gather herself, "Everett, you're a real piece of work!"

She'd been foolish to ever see him as anything other than an agreeable little sheep.
