Come back to Me, My Ex-Wife

Chapter 10 Being Humiliated

Chapter 10 Being Humiliated

In the freezing cold bedroom, Golden smiled evilly, looking horrible, "You may start now."

His cold words stung her ears. Margery couldn't help trembling. She bent over to unbuckle the first pearl-shaped button on his shirt. NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.

Suddenly, her wrist felt sharp pain the next second and Golden threw her onto the ground mercilessly. He strangled her again, making her unable to nudge a bit. She could do nothing but to see his horrible face approaching.

His dark eyes made her feel cold all over. Then Golden sneered, "Remember, that's what you deserve because of what you have done to Vivian before! You have to pay the price!"

After saying that, he pinned her on the bed.

It seemed to be an era for her when he finished. As Margery finally got herself out of pain, the cold mockery sounded from above, "You kept saying no but your body still did the best to respond. Just like what you have been doing during the past three years—you keep claiming that you are innocent after plotting against Vivian! Margery, you are the most hypocritical slut I have ever seen!"

Margery managed to support herself up, though still trembling. She raised her head to fix her eyes on him. Then she let out a bitter smile while tears shedding down her cheek, "Golden, you are right! I am the most hypocritical slut! And Vivian has been the purest and kindest one! Hope you both live a beatific life together!"

Seeing that Margery still say so with tears streaming down her face, Golden couldn't help squinting and then said chilling words again, "Don't try to play any dirty tricks again! She is much better than you! You are nothing when compared with her! If you dared to plot against her again, I would definitely kill you!"

After saying so, he took out a lighter from his pocket and lit up a cigarette. Then he walked away without looking back.

The door was then slammed shut.

'It's okay. Andrew is with me…Stop crying…' Margery murmured to herself.

Margery took a bus to the hospital the next morning, feeling ache all over.

When seeing her, Andrew threw himself into her arms, "Mom, I want to stay here forever."

"Why?" Margery touched his nose.

"Because daddy won't come to see me if I go to the kindergarten." Andrew pouted, looking sad.

When seeing his tearful eyes, Margery felt a bang of pain in her heart. She touched his emaciated face. Tears surged up in her eyes as well, "Babe, don't cry. Daddy is busy managing his big company. He will definitely go to see you if he has time."

"But daddy is always busy. I will be stolen if he doesn't come again to play with me." Andrew wriggled in her arms and reached out his hands to wipe away the tears on Margery's face, "Don't cry, mom. I can play with myself. It's okay if daddy is busy."

Margery hugged him tightly. She shook her head and smiled, "I am not crying. My eyes just ached because of the wind."

Though Golden hated her, she wouldn't ask for more since she had such a lovely and sensible baby.

While she was distracted, the carer pushed the door opened and came in with a smile, "Ms. Bryne, someone is expecting you."

"Who?"

Margery hurried to blink her eyes to remove tears. She held Andrew up and put him onto the bed gently. Then she stood up and walked out of the ward as calm as usual.
